“Elation” is a short poetic fashion film focused on a young woman’s quest toward a personal goal. Examining topics around self-care, growing up, and mental health, we follow statements that ring out as a background to a personal journey of one’s sense of self.

The project was made at a crucial point in my own journey as I was looking back in order to look forward. After conducting an interview with Leyla, I was swept away by memories of my own inner voice at the brink adolescence and how it weaved a backdrop to the tangible changes around me.
“Elation” fuses elements of naive carelessness and maturing confidence to arrive at a candid exploration of uncertainty as a prerequisite for growth.
Presented at A Shaded View Of Fashion Film Festival 14 in Paris and 'Human Kind' Series at MOMA during the United Nations film festival.
